Help & FAQ

Quick answers for players and clubs, from creating your account to tracking games and collecting club visitation pins.

Getting started

Joining SlidePath and making it feel at home on your devices.

What is SlidePath?

SlidePath is the home of your curling journey. Follow friends and clubs, record games, practice and statistics, collect club visitation pins, and experience leagues and bonspiels as they happen.

Is SlidePath free?

Yes. SlidePath is free for players and clubs.

Who can join SlidePath?

Players, fans, volunteers, club administrators and anyone involved in curling can join SlidePath.

How do I create an account or sign in?

Open the player login and choose Log in or Create account. You can continue with Google or Facebook, or use your email address and password.

Canonical club accounts use their official club email and password through the club login. Delegated club administrators use the main player login with their personal account.

Do I need to download an app?

No. SlidePath works beautifully in your browser on phones, tablets and computers. On a computer, simply visit www.slidepath.app.

You can also add SlidePath to your phone's Home Screen for an app-like experience.

Can I use SlidePath if my club hasn’t joined?

Absolutely. You can create your player profile, follow friends, record curling activity, use CurlTracker and track statistics even if your club does not administer its competitions through SlidePath.

Please also complete our contact form to tell us which club is missing, and we'll work on adding it.

Clubs

Finding, requesting and claiming official club pages.

I can’t find my club. What should I do?

Use Get My Club on SlidePath to let us know. We will contact the club using its publicly listed official contact details.

You can also speak with your club administration and tell them to keep an eye on their inbox.

What does an unclaimed club mean?

The club has a minimal public directory listing, but its official administrators have not yet taken control of it. An unclaimed listing is not managed or endorsed by the club.

How does a club claim its page?

SlidePath sends a unique claim pathway to an official club email address. Once the club's canonical account has been verified, the club can build its public page and add delegated administrators from its dashboard.

I’m a club administrator. Where should I begin?

Once you're signed in to your club account, open Learning Path from the navigation bar. It will guide you through building your club page and using SlidePath's club tools.

My club’s name, location or information is incorrect. How do I fix it?

Let us know through the contact form. We'll review the information and reach out to the club for you.

Games, CurlTracker and statistics

Recording your curling and choosing the right live game mode.

What is CurlTracker?

CurlTracker brings together games, practice and statistics that are recorded on SlidePath. All activity recorded on SlidePath carries forward with you, building a curling history that can follow your entire career.

Can I record a game if my club isn’t using SlidePath?

Yes. Log Activity lets you record curling outside a SlidePath-managed league or bonspiel. You can add the game, teams, result and available performance information to your personal curling history without waiting for your club to adopt SlidePath.

What’s the difference between Log Activity, Live Scoring and Live Stats?

Log Activity adds a game to your personal curling history when it is not already being managed as part of a SlidePath league or bonspiel. It is ideal for practice games, social curling, events hosted elsewhere and games you want to record afterward.

Live Scoring records the score end by end while a game is happening. It is designed for straightforward scoreboard updates and does not require every shot to be evaluated.

Live Stats adds guided shot-by-shot tracking. It records shot type, turn and result so player and team performance can be understood beyond the final score. Depending on the game, statistics may be tracked for both teams or only your own team.

Choose Live Scoring when you only need an up-to-date score. Choose Live Stats when you want detailed performance information. Use Log Activity when the game is not already part of a SlidePath-managed competition.

Can I correct a score, lineup or statistic after a game?

Open the game or activity and use the available edit or correction controls. If those controls are unavailable, or an official game has already been finalized, contact the club or event administrator. They can reopen or correct the game where permitted.

Why can’t I see my game or statistics?

Check that you are signed in to the account connected with the lineup, that the game has been completed or finalized, and that any statistics were saved. Refresh the page or sign out and back in once.

If the game is managed by a club or event, its administrator may still need to finalize it. If it remains missing, send us the game or event link through the contact form.

Club visitation pins

Collecting the clubs that form part of your curling journey.

How do club visitation pins work?

Participating clubs display an official SlidePath QR code at the venue. Scan it while signed in to collect that club's pin and add the visit to your Pin Chest.

If you cannot find the QR code in the warm room, ask the club administration where it is displayed.

I scanned the club QR code but didn’t receive my pin. What should I do?

Make sure the QR code opened while you were signed in to the correct SlidePath account. If it opened in your regular browser, you may need to sign in there even if you are already signed in through the Home Screen version.

Complete the check-in, then refresh your Pin Chest. If the pin still does not appear, contact us.

What does Visited but Missed mean?

SlidePath has recorded curling activity connecting you with that club, but you have not collected its official visitation pin. Scan the club's QR code during a future visit to add it to your Pin Chest.

Accounts, privacy and support

Profile visibility, your information and getting human help.

Who can see my SlidePath profile?

Public profile

A public profile helps other curlers discover and follow your SlidePath story.

  • Other SlidePath users can view your profile.
  • You can appear on player leaderboards.
  • Your public activity may appear in feeds.
  • Other users may follow you.
  • Your public pins/trophies may be visible depending on those settings.

  • Your activity is only visible where required for games, leagues, teams, or events you participate in.
  • Users may have limited ability to follow or discover you.
